About Anabelle D. Munro
Festival Founder and Director
Anabelle is an award-winning actress, writer, director, producer, author, and C.E.O. of the LA based film production company Blue Boots Entertainment. Munro serves as the Head of Development, where she also mentors and leads a slate of projects. Her team and partners have included accomplished entertainment professionals, such as producer Danny Rose (Cougar Town), producer James Dentley (JD3TV), director Giovanni Lampassi (Brooklyn 99), Ezequiel Martinez (Pirates of the Caribbean), and many more.
Munro's work in film as an actor, director and writer explores deeply human topics and garnered her success through festival darlings, such as her most recent award winning psychological drama about eating disorders "The Weight of Perfection,” which was optioned by Aglet Productions and is currently in development for a limited TV series, written by Anabelle.
To give back to the filmmaking community, Anabelle founded the "ETHOS Film Awards," formerly known as the TMIF Impact Awards, in 2018, held in Los Angeles. Her festival supports and honors filmmakers who impact the world with a message that serves society and is currently in its’ 4th season.
